Crocodiles are almost synonymous with Australia, and as natives know, these are beasts to keep your distance from. With thousands of these dinosaurs running rapid throughout the country, you would think people would know better than to approach these giant reptiles. That is, unless you’re at Crocosaurus Cove in Darwin City, Australia.
Then, feel free to dive in.
Whether you want to get a shot of adrenaline pumping through your body or literally face your fear, make sure to add this to your list of spots when visiting Australia. As peak season starts to increase (Australia’s summer begins December and ends February), this is the only kind of croc dive around.
With three crocodile enclosures, you, another thrill seeker and/or fool will become submerged in the croc infested waters for approximately five minutes, with amazing 360 degree views. Talk about a close encounter.
